More teams, more countries and more sport than ever: this is how we experienced this last season

Last summer of 2025 was another busy period, full of challenges and great enthusiasm. From organizing football and basketball tournaments, to the football and basketball camps that filled July, to the training camps and preseason sessions in August and September, we experienced another year of growth alongside clubs that have trusted us for several years and others that joined us for the first time.

The Pyrenees Cup organization arrived stronger than ever, with 95 basketball teams and 294 football teams participating, from 15 different countries, and concentrated over two weekends at the end of June in the territory of 3 countries (Spain, France and Andorra).

July kicked off with several football camps in Llívia and Puigcerdà, such as the Llívia Xutgoal Campus, FPI Academy and JP Preparation, along with the visit of international teams such as Dinamo Tirana, who came to play a match in Andorra corresponding to the qualifying phase of the Conference League.

In August, basketball was also very present with BC Martinenc, while in football we welcomed clubs such as CF Parets, FC Sant Quirze Fem and UE Cambrils, all of them located between Puigcerdà, Bourg Madame and La Seu d’Urgell.

In swimming we welcomed CN Cambrils, who stayed in Lloret, demonstrating that more and more sports disciplines are finding ideal preparation before competition at our venues.

At the end of August and throughout September, we welcomed numerous handball teams that are regulars at this time of year, such as Handbol Poblenou, Handbol Ribes, and Handbol Esplugues. We also hosted football clubs, like EF Premier, and basketball clubs, such as CE Xamba, the Hubei Junior Basketball Team, and AEE Castellví, which held its training camp in La Seu d’Urgell. September concluded with Creu Alta Handbol’s stay in Blanes.

Later, in the autumn, we welcomed the Kazakhstan Under-21 national team, who came to play an international match against the Andorran national team, the Hubei Junior Basketball Team from China, and the Philippines women’s futsal team, who came to prepare for the 2025 Futsal World Cup in Sabadell.

Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all the clubs that have returned from previous editions and continue to trust us to organize their training camps, camps and preseason events.

And, of course, a warm welcome to those who joined us for the first time in 2025. It is an honor to accompany you in your training, preparation, and sports-related experiences.

We’re wrapping up this summer full of energy and looking forward to seeing you all again very soon. Let’s continue growing together through sport!
